The instruction manual says it will be ready in about 2 hours and I should turn down the thermostat to the 2 o'clock detting. OK, when I got home I immediately set it up and I could hear the motor running. I thought yay! my freezer!!! Several hours later (8 hours to be exact) I checked to see if it was cold and to turn down the thermostat... it's still very hot on the inside! :( I tried calling the customer service center and they are not open right now. I called Walmart to see about returning it. I'm very unhappy and dissappointed in my freezer. I have been searching for a smaller deep freezer for about 20 years. It is just me and my husband and we do not need a big freezer. I will be calling the service center in the morning to see if there is something else I need to do to get it to work properly. If not, I'm taking it back... out of the box and all! |
