All our apartment had was a mini-fridge with a small freezer box in the very top, so we got this small freezer to accompany it.It was very easy to set up, and there are clear directions for switching which direction the door opens, which we did. It makes only a bit of noise, and is actually quieter than I would have expected. We initially had it set to the recommended temperature setting, but have since changed it since that was too cold. It works very well, and we have had no problems with it. Freezer works very well, but the motor mechanism takes up a significant portion of the inside cubic space. The most positive aspect was the very fast shipping time; it arrived several days before expected.
