Upon receipt of the shipment, I discovered that the freezer they sent had a standard, chest-freezer flip-up lid. As soon as I saw this, I went back to the item on Amazon and took a screen shot of the advertisement. When I informed TheFactoryDepot that the item received was not the item ordered, they claimed that because the advertised item number was the same as the one I received, there was no error and they refused to pay for the return shipping or to refund my original shipping cost of $150. I even sent them a screen shot that I took -- by the next day they had changed the picture to the correct item! This is a tacit admission of error!Additionally, Amazon was of no help -- their A-Z guarantee is pretty worthless. Buyer beware! |
